THE GARDEN CITY

LEGENDARY RESTAURANT & CARD ROOM SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA Pelican Foto was hired to shoot a series of exterior photos of the infamous Garden City Casino and Restaurant on Saratoga Avenue in San Jose, California shortly after it opened in 1977. The owners of the establishment were family members and relatives of the equally famous and original Garden City Hof Brau located in downtown San Jose. The images were continually used in a number of marketing and advertising media for a number of years.
